    The mausoleum of Mammadbeyli or Yahya ibn Muhammad al-Hajj is located in the village of Mammadbeyli in Zangilan District of Azerbaijan. Building was erected on March 28 – April 27,1305 by an architect Ali Majd al-Din.

    Azerbaijani singer-khanende Khan Shushinski (real name Isfandiyar Aslan oglu Jevanshirov) was born on August 20, 1901 in the city of Shusha. However, in the book of 2007 by Azerbaijani publicist Mustafa Chemenli, “Khan of Shushinski”, the village of Ballyja of Shusha uyezd (now Khojaly district of Azerbaijan) is indicated as his place of birth. Khan Shushinski came from the clan of Karabakh khans – Jevanshirs.

The building was constructed on the site of the demolished caravanserai of merchant Haji Amiraslan. According to Azerbaijani historian Chingiz Gajar, the caravanserai was built by Azerbaijani architect Kerbalai Sefi Khan Karabaghi.
