Mirza Rahim Fena was one of the initiators of the literary community Majlisi Uns (“Meeting of Friends”), led by by famous female poet Khurshudbanu Natavan.

Muhammad Ali Bek Baharli is also considered to be the author of the historical piece “Ekhvalati Garabagh”. In his work, the author pays more attention to architectural monuments, historical personalities, traditions and customs, and the ethnography of Karabakh.

He is one of the oldest Karabakh poets who created in the 19th century. He wrote under the alias of Ashug.

Navvab Mir Mohsun

He wrote poetry and published books in the printing house opened by him. Among his works, “Tazkirei-Navvab” is of great interest, which contains detailed information about the life and work of more than a hundred 19th century Karabakh poets.

Decades after the poet’s death, in 2006 the Manuscripts Institute of ANAS prepared and published a book of poems by Najaf Kuli Bek Shayda.
